Sometimes you open up a burl and discover a universe hiding under the bark. This piece of Maple Burl Driftwood from the shores of Lummi Island is a perfect example of this magic. These one of a kind stunners are hand turned on my lathe. A burl so beautiful it had to be made into wearable art!

These 2" Hand turned wood discs are sanded smooth and finished with my homemade wood finish and can be conditioned occasionally with coconut oil. Earrings hang on a hand forged 20 gauge Sterling Silver earwire.
